Marny Kennedy was born on January 21, 1994, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Is an actress and singer.
Her first major role was as 'Taylor Fry' in the Australian children's television series 'Mortified', which debuted on the Nine Network in 2006, the ABC Network in 2008 and The Disney Channel. As well as showing in Australia, Mortified aired internationally; winning various awards. Marny played the blacksheep and main character of the series. Taylor is 11 years old and usually breaks the fourth wall to talk to the audience. Following the show's success, she was nominated and awarded the AFI Award for 'Best Young Actress' for her role in Mortified, in 2006.
In 2007 Marny worked on the third season of The Saddle Club, playing one of the lead roles, 'Veronica DiAngelo'. The Saddle Club debuted in 2008 on the Nine Network in Australia, but also internationally. Marny is featured on the new sound track for the series with her co-star Aisha Dee.
In 2008, Marny began filming in the new Children's Program, 'A gURLs wURLd', playing one of the three lead roles, 'Ally Henson'. A gURLs wURLd was co-produced with both Germany and Singapore as well as Australia's Southern Star Productions. The program filmed in all three countries, and will be airing late 2010, to early 2011- on the Nine Network in Australia, and Internationally.
Following her work on 'a gURLs wURLd', Marny appeared on the Channel Ten drama, 'Rush', as guest star 'Amanda', in the season two finale episode.
As well as her on screen performances, Marny has also worked consistently as a voice-over artist, for both television, radio and films. 'INK' was an independent production, that of which Marny provided the voice for 'Young May'.
On January, 2011 she filmed the short-film Golden Girl, as teenage Cilla, who's life is drastically changed after she becomes scarred by a fire.
Right now, she's filming a new TV Show called "Conspiracy 365" where she plays Winter Frey.
